AARC Field Day (Continued):

Field Day 2008 logoFor Field Day 2008, the Alamance Amateur Radio Club’s operation as K4EG (with GOTA station W4VGZ) achieved sixth place among the 73 North Carolina stations reporting.  A total of 1,850 QSOs resulted in 7,102 points, placing us as first among the 75 stations running Category 2F.  We were 111th nationwide out of a total of 2,409.  28 individuals contributed to the club’s score.

Field Day 2007 logoFor Field Day 2007, the Alamance Amateur Radio Club’s operation as K4EG (with GOTA station W4VGZ) achieved tenth place among the 59 North Carolina stations reporting.  A total of 1,197 QSOs resulted in 4,982 points, placing us as sixth among the 68 stations running Category 2F.  We were 245th nationwide out of a total of 2,331.  22 individuals contributed to the club’s score.

Field Day 2006 logoFor Field Day 2006, the Alamance Amateur Radio Club’s operation as K4EG (with GOTA station W4VGZ) achieved ninth place among the 61 North Carolina stations reporting.  A total of 940 QSOs resulted in 4,136 points, placing us ninth among the 61 stations running Category 2F.  We were 348th nationwide out of a total of 2,169.  30 individuals contributed to the club’s score.
